Civilization in China
The Chinese civilization is the oldest civilization still in existence today, and extends back through history in an unbroken chain over nearly four thousand years. Throughout these thousands of years of history, the Chinese people have been instrumental in developing technologies and advancing the knowledge of mankind.
The Chinese have been ruled by a succession of dynasties. A dynasty is a family that passes the right to rule the nation from one generation to the next.
