The Muslims believe that they must confess their faith in Allah and in the prophet Muhammad. Muhammad is believed to be a mortal man, and the last of a long line of prophets, including Abraham, Moses and Jesus.
They believe that Allah is an all-powerful, just, kind, and merciful god. They believe that he looks after his children and that he wants them to be happy. Their confession of faith includes an acceptance that his will is supreme and must be followed at all costs.
